About Us

I was born and raised in Bastrop, Louisiana. From 1988 to 1992, I served in the United States Marine Corps. I have been living in West Monroe, married to my beautiful wife, Celli, for over 30 years. We have two grown, married children who are both in Christian ministry here in town. So far we have one beautiful granddaughter with hopefully more on the way.

I began stump grinding in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. After stump grinding part-time for 15 years, I began full-time in 2021. Clay Bryan’s Stump Grinding, LLC is built on values taught by Jesus Christ. My aim is to do every job as if it is for the Lord.​
